On December 23 I had the worst experience I have had as and Amsterdamer, but also as a tourist in my whole life. I came into this store, took my time choosing postcards I really liked. Then I came to pay, was indecisive and changed my mind from buying 4 to 3 postcards. Well the person in charge took the postcards from me, put them back on their place in the store and told me I could not have them if I was not decisive! He literally told me I could not, just because I was being the typical buyer who is indecisive. He made me leave the store without any of the cards I wanted to buy, and sold me nothing. Not that it is not annoying enough to find someone in the middle of the city, a city that is characterized by it's kindness, a person like this ... but to make it even worse I just found out that he indeed managed to charge me the 8 euros in my card! So he charged me and then didn't give me the cards.
I asked him for a receipt, thinking that maybe before I told him I did not want 4 the transaction had happened... He said it did not and that I should leave.
But the transaction happened! Charged me 8 euros!
It is sad to know that he took money from me and did not give me the product, this does not talk good about the store, and this should not happen to people. It is not acceptable!!! It does not stand for what Amsterdam represents: kindness and trust.
